The semi-final of the 18th Macao-wide English Speech Contest was held on 13 October 2019 in Macao Polytechnic Institute. The theme of the speech was My Beloved Macao.
Ellen Lo of Form 2C and Tiffany Leung of Form 3A from Junior Secondary category, Yoyo Leong of Form 4B and Coco Cheong of Form 6A from Senior Secondary category performed brilliantly and successfully entered the Finals. They have also each won $1000 for entering the Finals in November.
