The Macau Biology Challenge organised by Macau Life Science Institute was held on 13 July 2019 in Macau Polytechnic Institute. It encouraged the students to apply their knowledge about Biology to do different scientific investigations. The investigation of the team from our school was about the effects of audio frequency on the growth of plants. This team was formed by four of our F.4 students: Samantha Chan, Frena Lee, Ada Iao, and Claudia Lei. Our team was awarded the second runner-up among the 29 teams. The students reflected that they really gained a broad understanding of not only Biology but also plant physiology and environmental science through this competition.
