On 2 September 2019, all secondary students and teachers are in a cheerful frame of mind to start a new scholastic year. Due to Typhoon signal No. 3 being hoisted, primary classes are suspended. Their commencement of the new scholastic year is held on 3 September 2019 in the morning.
The commencement of the 2019 – 2020 scholastic year brings more than the usual level of excitement as, this year, students find new facilities and fixtures in the school campus that enhance their learning through activities, comfort and recreation.
All students are warmly welcomed by the Supervisor, the Principal and the School Administration Team in the Hall. New teachers and other members of staff are introduced. Students are introduced the new features in the campus, new assessment schemes for Form 5 & Form 6, 10-minute reading and DEAR Reading Programmes.
