On May 8th, our school celebrated the feast day of our Foundress, St. Magdalene of Canossa. The Pastoral Care Team organised a special “tour” for all secondary students, inviting them to explore The Footprints of Love: The Canossian Sisters’ Journey in Macau. Through an interactive Kahoot! quiz, students learned about the sisters’ history and mission, with each class working collaboratively to answer questions. The activity brought together learning, teamwork, and a joyful festive spirit.

The celebration also featured a heartfelt tribute to Sr. Dorothy Cheng, representative of the School Sponsoring Body in Macau and our former Supervisor and Principal. This year marks Sr. Dorothy’s diamond jubilee—60 years of devoted religious life. Her lifelong dedication to serving the poor and the neglected reflects a deep commitment to seeing Christ in those who suffer and responding with compassion through education, pastoral care, and social service. Her witness inspires us to live in love and charity, faithful to the spirit of the Sacred Heart.
